Medical Director, Global Lead Physician, Global Medical Sciences @ Parexel International
Enrolling in the CMDS hybrid master’s programme — Cybersecurity Management and Data Sovereignty, delivered by the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers at POLITEHNICA Bucharest within the European Digital4Security (D4S) initiative — has been one of the cleverest decisions I have made in recent years in my ongoing professional development. The admission process was refreshingly straightforward, and the programme is genuinely built for working professionals: the hybrid teaching format, weekend classes and flexible examination schedule allowed me to study in depth while remaining fully committed to my demanding full-time role as a physician and Medical Director in clinical research. Just as valuable has been the cohort itself — accomplished, friendly and open-minded colleagues from remarkably diverse fields, from law, finance and banking to academia, pharma and computer science — which turned every module into a genuine exchange of professional perspectives rather than a one-way lecture. To anyone considering building real expertise in cybersecurity management, I wholeheartedly encourage you to apply, whether to the full master’s programme or to the microcredential courses: it is a rare combination of academic rigour, flexibility and human quality.
