Terms and Conditions

Applicants for the “Cybersecurity Management and Data Sovereignty” master program must apply through the https://www.digital4security.eu platform. They must pass the eligibility criteria and present the required information in the admissions form. Subsequently, their submission will be evaluated by the master admissions committee with a final decision being communicated via e-mail.

In case of a positive decision, applicants must also submit their documents to the POLITEHNICA Bucharest admission platform (see details below):

POLITEHNICA Bucharest provides the legal framework for organizing university master’s degree studies in the fields and specializations/academic programs that are accredited, in accordance with the law, published in the Nomenclature of fields and specializations/academic study programs, approved by a Government decision at the proposal of the Ministry of Education, as well as the legal framework for quality assurance.

The expected learning outcomes are aligned with the competencies required for the corresponding occupations, according to occupational standards and/or the European Classification of Occupations (ESCO).

The structure of the academic year is approved by the University Senate, in accordance with the provisions of Art. 27 of Law 199/2023.

At the beginning of each academic year, faculties are obliged to post on their website the structure of the academic year and the curriculum plans for each study program. The course outline is brought to the student’s attention by the course instructor during the first class/seminar of the semester and is published on the Moodle platform.

At the start of the academic year (within the first 15 working days), the student must complete and sign the Annual Study Contract/Additional Act (regardless of the study regime with or without fees), which certifies their enrollment/engagement in the educational process and inclusion in a study formation.

With the approval of the Faculty Executive Office (BExF), students can choose during their studies disciplines totaling a maximum of 15 ECTS from the curriculum of another master’s program within the university, which will replace a similar number of ECTS for disciplines in their own curriculum. These disciplines will be included in the Annual Study Contract, and the corresponding ECTS will be part of the mandatory ECTS for graduation. Students can also take elective disciplines provided in the curriculum for which additional ECTS are awarded beyond the mandatory and optional ones.

Each master’s program has a Program Coordinator, appointed by the faculty, who oversees the conduct of the education process in accordance with the regulations and requirements of POLITEHNICA Bucharest. For the “Cybersecurity Management and Data Sovereignty” master program, the Program Coordinator is Ciprian Dobre.

The tuition fee for the “Cybersecurity Management and Data Sovereignty” master program is 1200 EUR / year (2400 EUR for the duration of the master program). Payment information will be provided after the admissions phase and before the enrollment phase.
